What is Bananagrams?
"Bananagrams is a word game in which lettered tiles are used to spell words. The object of the game is to arrange ones tiles into interconnected words faster than their opponents."
Who made this game?
The online version of Bananagrams was created by Large Animal Games and published by Majesco Entertainment. Bananagrams is a registered trademark of Bananagrams International. You can find out more about the table top version of Bananagrams here.
What are the differences between solo and multiplayer?
In solo player mode it’s just the player against the clock. It’s a great way for a player to practice their Bananagrams skills. In multiplayer mode, players will be playing against their friends to see who can use all their tiles in the fastest time."
What is considered a word in Bananagrams?
When a player connects all their available tiles they can declare "Bananas!". The game will check the tiles they joined together and compare it against a list of valid words. Proper nouns are not acceptable. Bananagrams uses the YAWL word list which is a combination of several popular word game lists."
When does the game validate words?
Unlike most other word games, words are checked for validity when a player connects all their available tiles together and declares "Bananas!". So, when a player declares "Bananas!" the game will check which words are valid and notify you if it doesn’t recognize a word.
